Delete your account

Option 1 — delete in the app

1. Open Walo Live and go to your profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Open Privacy Settings, then tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. You will be signed out once the request is accepted.

Option 2 — request by email

If you cannot sign in, email info@walolive.com from the email address registered on your account with the subject “Delete my account”, and include:

• Your user ID or the phone number on the account;
• Your nickname in the app.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before proceeding, so that nobody else can delete your account.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, nickname, photo and bio;
• Your moments, posts and comments;
• Your messages and call history;
• Your followers, friends and blocklist;
• Your unused coin balance and any diamond balance below the minimum;
• Your device and push registration.

What we keep, and why

• Transaction and tax records — kept for the period required by law.
• Safety and enforcement records — where an account was suspended for a serious breach, we keep enough information to stop the account being re-created.
• Content others hold — messages you sent to another user remain in that user's copy of the conversation.
• Backups — deleted data persists in backups for a short period before being overwritten.

Timing

Deletion is completed within 30 days of the request. During that window the account is deactivated and not visible to other users.

Can I get the account back?

No. Once deletion completes, the account and its balances cannot be restored. If you are unsure, consider signing out instead, or contact info@walolive.com first.
