Community Guidelines

These published standards apply to the Walo Live app on Google Play and elsewhere, operated by WALO TECHNOLOGIES LTD (Walo Technologies Ltd.) — live rooms, video streams, messages, moments, profiles and usernames.

Last updated 18 September 2026

Walo Live is age-restricted (18+). Intimate, explicit or exploitative content — and any content involving minors — is never permitted. Walo Live and WALO TECHNOLOGIES LTD strictly prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

This section is the publicly accessible Child Safety / CSAE published standard for the Walo Live app (developer / operator: WALO TECHNOLOGIES LTD). It applies whether or not a user is a child: Walo Live is for adults only, but CSAE and CSAM are still strictly banned.

CSAE means child sexual abuse and exploitation — content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. CSAM means child sexual abuse material: any visual depiction (photos, videos, livestreams, computer-generated imagery, or similar) involving a minor in sexually explicit conduct.

Walo Live / WALO TECHNOLOGIES LTD has a zero-tolerance policy. The following are strictly prohibited in live rooms, video, chat, moments, profiles, usernames, links, or any other feature:

  • Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, storing, linking to, or otherwise distributing CSAM or any other Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
  • Child grooming (befriending a child to facilitate sexual contact or exchange of sexual imagery, online or offline).
  • Sexualisation of a minor (imagery or behaviour that depicts, encourages, or promotes sexual abuse of children, or portrays children in a sexual way).
  • Sextortion (threatening or blackmailing a child using real or alleged intimate images).
  • Trafficking of a child (advertising or soliciting a child for commercial sexual exploitation).
  • Inappropriate sexual interaction targeted at a child, or any content that facilitates the exploitation or abuse of children.

Addressing CSAM (what we do)

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or confirmed CSAE on Walo Live, we take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law, including at minimum:

  • Removing the content immediately;
  • Permanently banning the responsible account(s);
  • Preserving evidence as required for reporting to authorities; and
  • Reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant regional authority.

Child safety laws

WALO TECHNOLOGIES LTD operates Walo Live in compliance with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority. Users must also follow the laws of their country.

In-app reporting and feedback

Walo Live provides an in-app mechanism for users to submit feedback, concerns, and reports without leaving the app: every profile, room, message and post can be reported from inside the app. Users can also block accounts immediately. CSAE / CSAM / child-safety reports are prioritised.

Child safety point of contact

Designated child safety / CSAE contact for Google Play notifications and user reports about Walo Live (WALO TECHNOLOGIES LTD):

  • Email: info@walolive.com
  • This contact can speak to our enforcement and review procedures and take action when required.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then report in-app and/or email the address above.

Age and access

  • Walo Live is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create or hold an account.
  • Children (anyone under 18) are not allowed to use Walo Live. We do not target children and we are not a Designed for Families / kids app.
  • Accounts we believe belong to a minor are suspended, and we may require identity verification to restore access.
  • Do not allow anyone under 18 to appear on your stream or in your content.
  • Before creating or uploading user-generated content, you must accept these Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service.

Not allowed

Intimate or explicit content

  • Nudity or partial nudity, and behaviour meant to be suggestive on camera.
  • Adult entertainment material, or linking to it.
  • Offering or soliciting paid intimate services in a room or in messages.

Content involving minors

  • Any Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or intimate or exploitative content involving a minor. This results in immediate permanent suspension and is reported to NCMEC or the relevant authorities.
  • Sharing a minor's personal information or soliciting contact with a minor.

Violence and harm

  • Threats of violence, or content that glorifies or incites violence.
  • Graphic violence, self-harm, or content that encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
  • Animal cruelty.

Harassment and hate

  • Bullying, targeted abuse, stalking, or coordinated pile-ons.
  • Hate speech or slurs directed at race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease.
  • Sharing someone's private information — address, phone number, ID documents — without consent.
  • Recording or re-sharing another user's stream or calls without consent.

Deception and fraud

  • Impersonating another person, a host, a staff member or a brand.
  • Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, or requests for money under false pretences.
  • Selling or trading accounts, coins or diamonds outside the app.
  • Manipulating gifts, targets or rankings — including self-gifting and coordinated gift recycling.
  • Bots, emulators or automation used to inflate hours, viewers or gifts.

Illegal and regulated goods

  • Drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen data or other illegal trade.
  • Real-money gambling, betting, or lottery schemes.

Spam and disruption

  • Repetitive messages, mass friend requests, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Promoting competing platforms, or moving users off Walo Live to buy or sell coins, gifts or accounts.
  • Deliberately disrupting rooms, or evading a block, mute or ban.

Reporting and blocking (UGC safeguards)

Walo Live hosts public user-generated content. We moderate in line with these standards and Google Play's User Generated Content expectations for social apps:

  • Report in-app — every profile, room, message and post can be reported from inside the app. Reports go to a moderation team.
  • Block in-app — blocking takes effect immediately and stops messages, calls and room contact from that account.
  • Email — for urgent child-safety / CSAE concerns, also contact info@walolive.com.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Enforcement

Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before, we may:

  • Remove the content and issue a warning;
  • Restrict features such as going live, messaging or gifting;
  • Void earnings connected to the breach;
  • Suspend the account temporarily or permanently.

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), content involving minors, credible threats of violence, and fraud result in immediate permanent suspension without a warning.

Appeals

If you think a decision was wrong, email info@walolive.com from the address on your account within 30 days, including your user ID and what you are appealing.
